About QRCraft

QRCraft is a free, browser-based project focused on one thing: helping people generate reliable QR codes and understand the principles that make them scannable — from a small business owner printing a restaurant menu to a marketer running a campaign with thousands of codes.

Our Mission

QR codes are everywhere, yet many of the codes published in the wild do not scan. They are too small, low contrast, overlaid with logos that destroy error correction headroom, or generated with tools that strip the quiet zone. Our mission is to make QR code generation effortless and to explain, in plain language, the standards behind every choice a generator makes. Every tool and article on this site is built around that goal.

We believe a good QR tool does three things: it encodes data correctly to the ISO/IEC 18004 standard, it explains why its output is scannable, and it respects the user's privacy at every step. We build every page around that loop — generate, understand, and protect.

Methodology

Our generator and reference material follow a consistent methodology:

Editorial Standards

Content is written by contributors with hands-on experience in QR code generation, print production, and standards compliance, and reviewed for technical accuracy. We avoid fear-mongering, fake urgency, and unsupported claims. Where a figure or standard is referenced — such as an error correction level's redundancy percentage or a version's data capacity — we link the source in a References section at the foot of the article so readers can verify it independently.

We do not accept paid placements or sponsored links within article body content. The external references you see are curated for relevance, not for compensation.

Privacy Stance

QRCraft runs entirely client-side. We do not collect personal data, set tracking cookies, or run analytics. QR codes you generate with the live tool never leave your device. Read our full privacy policy for the details.
